Our setting is ideal for thinking out of the box or just having some fun. The grounds provide plenty of space for team building, learning a new craft or shuckin' some oysters, The weekday picnic/mini tour is great way to gather with a few pals and take in a bit of history.

Amenities include

~GREEN TREE HOUSE, winner of Historic Columbia's 2018 Historic Preservation Award for "New Construction in an Historic Context" is a beautiful, semi-enclosed pavilion for up to 170 guests. It houses 2 accessible restrooms, a prep kitchen, built in service bar, a large communal space (@2000 sf) with fireplace, and a smaller conference space with fireplace. (Clear tent sides can be installed for full enclosure)

~Full access to the gardens and grounds immediately surrounding the Main House allowing a variety of sites for your event. 

~Security guard and parking attendant provided as necessary

The interior and porches of the Main House and other outbuildings are not open to the public.

~Kindly observe that Wavering Place is a private residence and only open for reserved events and guests of our B&B. We are passionate about preservation and sharing the story of Wavering Place and believe it is most informative when delivered by professional historians. Historic Columbia periodically offers tours of Wavering Place.
