Meet our Creative Director, Lisa Boykin Adams-

Lisa and her husband, Weston, have owned Wavering Place for nearly 10 years, but they have been hanging around here for quite some time. It is a family place and they actually had their rehearsal dinner here over 30 years ago when it belonged to "Uncle Julian". Lisa has a background in art, architecture and hospitality design and grew up in a creative family of artists, cooks, caterers and women well versed in the art of hospitality. When she is not busy greeting clients and tending the property here, you can find her painting in her studio nearby. As an artist and designer, she fully understands how the property functions during events and is here to help clients visualize all that is possible at this beautiful, historic location. She is especially grateful for the amazing team onsite that keeps the venue in tip top shape as well as the vendor teams that coordinate and manage the events. Learn more about our services
